Just Hang Up

“Just Hang Up” is a public service campaign produced by the Indiana Society of Enrolled agents. The goal of the program is to educate taxpayers about the dangers of the recent IRS phone call scams and teach them that the best procedure is to “Just Hang Up.”

This page will provide members of the Indiana Society of Enrolled Agents resources to be used in spreading the word to taxpayers about the dangers of these phone scams. If you have thoughts or suggestions as to how we can better spread the word, please email us at [email protected].

If you are unsure as to who to send it to, go online and find business reporters in your local publications, radio/TV stations, and other news sources. These are the people that will most likely publish your releases. You can also create accounts and submit your press releases to free sources like www.prlog.org.
